Usage terms

• Licensed to the verified firm for the verified year only; the year on the badge must match the registry entry.
• Must link to the firm's registry page wherever it is displayed online; in print, the verification ID must appear beside it.
• May be used on websites, proposals, RFP responses, engagement letters, email signatures, office signage and social profiles.
• May not be altered, recoloured, animated, or combined with other marks; may not imply that any AI output is certified.
• Must be removed within 5 business days of suspension, revocation or expiry. Expired badges are visibly expired in the registry.
• Recommended wording next to the badge: "AI governance independently verified against the AboveBoard Standard v1.0."
• The Stewardship seal may only be displayed alongside a current Verified, Advanced or Leading badge, never alone; it certifies the firm's own stewardship practices, not the environmental performance of any AI vendor.
